Absolutely incredible! This is the second time I've had the pleasure of working with Yoanna, and she has far exceeded my expectations once again. Her attention to detail is astonishing — every word was carefully considered, and yet she perfectly maintained my voice. It's as if she knew exactly what I wanted, but made it even better than I could have imagined. The care and dedication she puts into her work are truly rare.

Yoanna immersed herself in my non-fiction story. I could feel that she liked my story. She did exactly the edit I wanted her to do, and at the same time adhered to my style of writing. I see her as a down-to-earth, compassionate person who takes her trade seriously. I wish her all the best, she has a great future ahead.

Wow! I’m blown away by the depth of work provided by Yoanna. This really exceeded my expectations and I’m so thrilled with the feedback she has provided. The suggestions that were provided have already helped me to improve my book and create a better flow in the opening chapters. I would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back to purchase again when I complete the rest of my book.

Professional to the end. Her excellent insights and corrections helped shape the book into the shape it is now. She was very polite and could answer any questions you may have with great detail. You are behind if you are an aspiring book writer and do not hire her. Would 100% come back to her and recommend her to anyone!

Yoanna pointed out many things that I as the writer missed. I believe that with the help of her review, I can improve my manuscript to a degree that is much more impactful than it currently is. She was happy to answer any questions I had about things that did not make it onto the review.

Youana has proved to be a valued asset in my pursuit of writing books professionally. They were highly approachable and were available to answer all my questions. The main plus of getting this service was that it truly uncovered flaws in my writing that my former proof-readers, such as family members, couldn't identify. I will be back again for the same service if my book is published and I see potential in continuing my book series

Some of the most asked questions that may help you out

What’s the difference between book coaching and editing?

Book coaching is an ongoing, personalised mentorship that helps you develop your writing, build habits, and refine your story(s).  Stay accountable through structured feedback, discussions, and goal-setting, and a personalised Notion dashboard for you. Coaching is ideal if you're still drafting, need motivation, or want professional guidance while writing. It includes various types of editing according to your manuscript needs.

Editing, on the other hand, focuses on improving an existing manuscript. Depending on the stage of your book, this can include developmental editing (big-picture storytelling and structure), line editing (prose refinement), copyediting (grammar and technical consistency), or proofreading (final error-checking before publication). Editing is best when you have a completed draft that needs polishing.

The great thing is that my signature program includes both in all 3 levels.

Should I edit my book before querying agents?

Yes! Agents expect polished manuscripts. Developmental and line editing can greatly improve your chances of getting noticed. Interesting note, literary agents receive anywhere from 200 to 1,000+ query submissions per month (insane, I know!), depending on their reputation, genre focus, and agency size. So you can imagine that they spend just a few quick minutes on each query before deciding whether to read further or not, so making a great first impression is key here.

What if I need help with just one part of my book?

You can check out my A La Carte Services if you just need a one-time service or something additional. I have added a helpful calculator that gives you an approximate of the price, so you have an idea of what to expect.
